The Grand Rapids Rifle & Pistol Club is proudly affiliated with the following organizations. We encourage members to support and join these organizations as well.

American Legion: The American Legion Junior Shooting Sports Program is a gun safety education and marksmanship program that encompasses the basic elements of safety, education, enjoyment, and competition. Locally, our junior club is sponsored by Roger B. Chaffee Post 154.

Civilian Marksmanship Program: The Civilian Marksmanship Program (CMP) is a national organization dedicated to training and educating U. S. citizens in responsible uses of firearms and air guns through gun safety training, marksmanship training and competitions. CLICK TO JOIN.

Michigan 4-H: The Michigan 4-H Shooting Sports program has been active for more than 20 years. Youth in more than 70 counties participate in a variety of shooting sports areas every year! Members can learn safety and shooting techniques for shotgun, rifle, air gun, muzzle loading and archery. They learn how to handle firearms responsibly for target practice and hunting and learn respect for the natural environment. CLICK TO JOIN.

Michigan Rifle & Pistol Association: The Michigan Rifle & Pistol Association shall promote and coordinate: the proper organization, operation, and administration of affiliated clubs; statewide activities related to the ownership and lawful use of firearms; and to cooperation with other organizations in the conservation of our wildlife resources within the State of Michigan and throughout the United States. USA Shooting: USA Shooting was chartered by the United States Olympic and Paralympic Committee as the National Governing Body for the sport of shooting in April 1995.
