Membership
Eligibility:
Applicants must be legally permitted under Michigan and federal law to own, possess, transport, and use firearms and ammunition. Individuals prohibited under MCL 750.224f, 18 U.S.C. § 922(g), or any other applicable law may not become members or use GRRPC facilities.
No individual shall be eligible for membership, nor permitted to retain membership, if they engage in, support, or advocate activities involving terrorism, violent extremism, or the unlawful overthrow of the government.
Membership Types:
Individual Membership $100 ($90 for 65+, Active Duty Military, Veterans)
Individual Membership is open to any person eighteen (18) years of age or over who applies on the prescribed form, pays the required dues, and otherwise meets all criteria for such membership. Individual membership includes voting rights.
2026 Individual Membership (July – December)
Family Membership $125 ($115 for 65+, Active Duty Military, Veterans)
Family Membership is open to any person eighteen (18) years of age or over, their spouse, and dependents (under age 21) who applies on the prescribed form, pays the required dues, and otherwise meets all criteria for such membership. Family Membership includes voting rights. Family Membership shall carry one (1) vote total, regardless of the number of individuals included within the membership. The primary member listed on the Family Membership application shall be designated as the voting member unless the Executive Board receives written notice designating another adult member of the same household as the voting representative.

Junior Membership $10
Junior Membership is open to any person under the age of eighteen (18) whose parent or guardian applies on the prescribed form, pays the required dues, and otherwise meets all criteria for such membership. Junior Membership does not include voting rights.

Collegiate Membership $25
Collegiate Membership is open to any individual enrolled in an accredited post‑secondary educational institution, including two‑year colleges, four‑year colleges, universities, and vocational or technical programs. Eligible individuals must be under the age of twenty‑six (26) at the time of application, submit the prescribed form, pay the required dues, and meet all other criteria for membership. Collegiate Membership does not include voting rights.

Young Adult Membership $25
Young Adult Membership is open to any person between the ages of eighteen (18) and twenty (20) who applies on the prescribed form, pays the required dues, and otherwise meets all criteria for such membership. Young Adult Membership does not include voting rights.
Daily Membership $15
Daily Membership is open to any person 18 years of age or over who applies on the prescribed form, pays the required dues, and otherwise meets all criteria for such membership. Daily Membership is temporary and is valid only for the specific calendar day on which it is issued and approved. Daily Membership privileges begin upon approval of the daily membership application or waiver by the Executive Board or its designee and automatically expire at the end of the calendar day. Daily Memberships do not confer voting rights. Daily Members must comply with all Club rules, safety policies, and range regulations while on Club property or be subject to immediate removal.

Life Membership No Cost
The Executive Board may grant an honorary Life Membership to any person who in the Board’s discretion has distinguished themselves in support of the purpose and object of Grand Rapids Rifle & Pistol Club. A Life Member shall have all the rights and privileges of annual membership, including but not limited to voting privileges and the right to run for office. The Life Member are granted these rights with the understanding that they are excused from paying annual membership fees; however, range fees are still required.
*Effective September 12, 2022, new members will be billed $100 if joining January – March, $75 if joining April – June, $50 if joining July – September, and $25 if joining October – December.
Note – If paying electronically, a $5 service fee has been added to the total cost.
Membership Duration:
Annual membership expires on December 31st.
Range Fees:
Regardless of membership type, a $5 range fee is required for each shooter during each visit to the range.
Scheduled range officers are exempt from paying the $5 range fee during their shift.
Exception: Some sanctioned matches have different fees than those listed above. Refer to the match program for actual cost.
